Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year cooking experience required
- Food handlers certification required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including early morning and afternoon
- Experience in scratch cooking or catering preferred
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications

- Scratch and/or catering experience strongly preferred
- Food handlers certification required upon hire
- Experience working with frail or elderly population preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including every other weekend
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare all hot foods for patient trayline, cafe, and functions including entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Work rotating 8 hour shifts with start times at 4:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
- Collaborate with kitchen and food service staff to ensure timely and quality meal service
- Adhere to dietary guidelines and special patient meal requirements
- Participate in inventory management and ingredient preparation
- Support the catering team with special event food preparation
