Job Requirements

- Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting and standing for long periods
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage kitchen in absence of Food Service Director

Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods for residents, ensuring high-quality meals
- Bake rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies following recipes and dietary specifications
- Work on the tray line during meal service to ensure residents' meals are served efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean kitchen, including hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans
- Clean kitchen areas and perform related tasks as needed
- Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to accommodate special dietary requirements
