Job Requirements

  • experience in healthcare, hospital, or skilled nursing facility preferred

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • CPR certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu, dietary restrictions, and standardized recipes
  • ensure meals are visually appealing and served at proper temperatures
  • maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, and cleanliness in food preparation areas
  • assist with food preparation for special events or facility-wide functions
  • use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • monitor food inventory and report shortages to the supervisor
  • follow all food safety and infection control procedures
  • collaborate with dietary staff to ensure a smooth workflow
