Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to communicate effectively with others
  • capability to stand or move for up to four hours continuously
  • ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • willingness to work in a hot and damp environment
  • must be able to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout the shift
  • ability to use small tools and cooking equipment
  • commitment to frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap
  • readiness to comply with health and safety protocols throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a similar cook or kitchen role beneficial but not required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • ability to follow instructions accurately
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting

Job Duties

  • prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking stations
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
  • assist in inventory management and restocking
  • support training and development of new kitchen staff
