Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- capability to stand or move for up to four hours continuously
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- willingness to work in a hot and damp environment
- must be able to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout the shift
- ability to use small tools and cooking equipment
- commitment to frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap
- readiness to comply with health and safety protocols throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a similar cook or kitchen role beneficial but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking stations
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- assist in inventory management and restocking
- support training and development of new kitchen staff
- handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
