Job Requirements
- Some high school education or equivalent
- Experience in food preparation in related environments
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds or more
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations
- No education substitution allowed
- Must provide proof of eligibility if claiming preference categories
- Ability to work extended physical activity periods
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club, or similar food service environment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment
- Ability to season food and judge cooking readiness
- Physical ability to lift 40 pounds frequently
- Capable of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending for long periods
- Experience related to safe food handling and preparation
Job Duties
- Prepare and present food items in accordance with established methods and procedures
- Follow oral and written instructions to ensure food safety and quality
- Operate and clean food service equipment properly
- Season food and determine when food items are adequately cooked
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods
- Provide shift coverage including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations
