Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to effectively communicate with others
- commitment to safety and hygiene standards
- physical ability to stand and move for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to wear protective gear throughout shifts
- ability to work in hot and damp environments
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or restaurant experience beneficial
- strong communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- food safety certification a plus
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- prepare menu items according to Applebee's standards
- maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- communicate effectively with team members and dining staff
- manage cooking equipment safely
- follow food handling and sanitation guidelines
- assist with inventory and stock rotation
- ensure timely preparation and presentation of food
