Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- minimum 1 year kitchen experience in a high-volume or fast-casual setting
- skilled in prep, cooking, and executing recipes consistently
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Job Duties
- prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
- stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service
- portions food prior to cooking following standard recipes
- maintains a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, grills, broilers and fryers
- assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
- closes the kitchen properly and follows closing checklists
- attends team meetings and training, performs other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
