Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior food preparation and cooking experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Willingness to follow company safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation to work location

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and stores food and supply items per standards
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering supplies, and reporting maintenance or accidents to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Abides by all company policies and procedures for safety, including use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
