Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior food preparation and cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Willingness to follow company safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Reliable transportation to work location

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and stores food and supply items per standards
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering supplies, and reporting maintenance or accidents to supervisor
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Abides by all company policies and procedures for safety, including use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
