Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Culinary school training or relevant certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and test new recipes and menu items
  • Decorate dishes before they are served to enhance the aesthetic appeal
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as necessary
