Job Requirements
- Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler training
- Experience in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment
- Knowledge of food characteristics
- Ability to season food and decide when foods are done
- Open to all applicants with preference categories recognized
- Must provide proof of eligibility by 11/17/2025
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar food activity
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work safely
- Knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment
- Knowledge of characteristics of various foods
- Ability to season food and determine when foods are done
- Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain one
- Physical ability to perform required tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare and present food items following established methods and procedures
- Operate and clean food service equipment safely and effectively
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Perform simple arithmetic related to food preparation
- Ensure food safety by obtaining and maintaining a Food Handler's Certificate
- Lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds frequently and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation area
