Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years old
- ability to effectively communicate with others
- physical ability to stand for up to four hours and lift up to 50 pounds
- capacity to work in hot and damp environments
- willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including wearing protective gear
- ability to use small kitchen tools safely
- commitment to teamwork and quality customer service
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a team setting
- knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- capable of following detailed recipes and instructions
Job Duties
- prepare menu items according to Applebee's recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas
- communicate effectively with kitchen and dining room staff
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- assist in inventory control and stock management
- participate in team efforts to ensure smooth restaurant operations
