Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
  • Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines including HACCP
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time deadlines
  • Ability to operate mid-sized company delivery van/truck
  • Adherence to dress code and workplace safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP guidelines, and workplace safety standards
  • Ability to use large volume culinary equipment including slicers, mixers, processors, and blenders
  • Basic cooking and food prep techniques
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Clock in and out for workday and breaks
  • Always provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines and regulations
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques required by work assignment
  • Execute NetMenu recipe preparation of food items as directed by production sheets or kitchen leadership
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following ISS/Guckenheimer and regulatory rules
  • Notify management of any ingredient discrepancies, food or equipment safety issues, or other concerns
  • Attend all daily meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
