Job Requirements

  • Ability to work various hours and locations based on business needs

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience as a cook in a large restaurant, hotel, or healthcare facility
  • demonstrated knowledge of food products and preparation methods
  • skill in quality food production including tray-line, cafeteria, grill, or catering
  • ability to prepare and coordinate food orders efficiently
  • knowledge of health department codes and sanitation policies
  • customer service skills
  • food handler’s card preferred
  • proficiency in scratch cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and sauces
  • experience with knife skills and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items according to standardized recipes
  • perform meat fabrication, fish cutting, and sauce making
  • maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness
  • follow proper plating and garnishing procedures
  • assist with kitchen closing duties and checklist
  • attend employee meetings and contribute suggestions
  • comply with health and safety standards
