Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ cooking experience in institutional or full-service restaurant settings
- current Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations
- meet state health-related and certification requirements
- ability to follow recipes, perform measurements, and adjust quantities as needed

Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to Brightwater menus and recipes, adhering to dietary requirements and physician orders
- maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment
- inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure compliance with food safety practices
- bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods, and regulate cooking equipment temperatures
- portion, arrange, and garnish food attractively and in a timely manner
- carry out scheduled cleaning, stocking, and maintenance tasks as directed by the Chef
- receive, prepare, and serve food and beverage orders in the bistro
- attend scheduled training sessions and staff meetings
- communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, keeping them informed of any challenges or opportunities for improvement
