Job Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement and authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and ability to multitask

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar cook role preferred
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Ability to prepare food according to recipes and portion controls
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Basic math skills for measurements and portioning
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect and organize the kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities and specifications, maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect preparation and food serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
