Job Requirements
- Minimum age requirement and authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, crouch and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and ability to multitask
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar cook role preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to prepare food according to recipes and portion controls
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measurements and portioning
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect and organize the kitchen area, equipment and utensils
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities and specifications, maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect preparation and food serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
