Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to bend, reach and squat
  • Ability to work well in a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Good physical stamina and endurance

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities and portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment for safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busy periods
