Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables
  • Must be able to safely use a ladder

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests
  • Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with preparation and execution standards
  • Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability
  • Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including equipment, countertops, walk-in coolers, and storage areas
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of shortages or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and ensure timely preparation and service
  • Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed
  • Maintain high standards in cleanliness and sanitation
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
