- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- knowledge of ServSafe food safety protocols
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
- strong hygiene and cleanliness standards
- good communication skills
- ability to follow health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- Prepare, cook and clean food service for designated shifts
- prep food for next shift
- wash dishes and clean kitchen
- behave professionally with staff and guests
- provide a safe and clean work environment in the kitchen and dining area
- follow ServSafe food safety protocols
- prepare and serve banquet food as needed
- keep all storage areas neat and clean
- establish a set of personal quality standards for cleanliness and maintain those standards
- write down maintenance or security problems
- prepare all food and beverages
- keep all supplies, food and drinking products stocked and fresh
- take inventory of food, beverage and supplies
- inform management of supply needs
- be able to operate the service equipment
- help other employees when needed
- refer guest requests or concerns to appropriate department
- report pertinent information to the next shift orally and in log books
- continue and maintain a working relationship with other employees
- perform all duties assigned by manager
