Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- food handler permit or servsafe certification where applicable
- ability to read and follow written instructions
- good communication skills
- capacity to work rotating weekends
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- ability to tolerate temperature extremes and exposure to cleaning chemicals
- willingness to work full-time 40 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- food handler permit or servsafe certification required by first day of work in Utah and Idaho
- demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines
- preferred experience providing exceptional customer service
- preferred knowledge of modified diet preparation
- preferred ability to use commercial cooking equipment
Job Duties
- prepares and cooks food items following recipes and instructions
- serves customers across catering, retail outlets, and patient care venues
- prepares bulk food items and specialty meals for large-scale production
- maintains an organized and sanitary work environment
- manages food production quantities with product rotation
- delivers patient meals and performs cashier duties
- operates automatic and manual ware-washing machines as required
