Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum one year of cooking experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working with sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates
  • Ability to work in a hot environment
  • Frequent hand immersion in water and chemical solutions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of closely related cooking experience
  • Experience in high-volume and casual dining restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques for soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions
  • Perform all station functions of Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and egg cooking
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to the manager on duty and servers
  • Provide the highest quality of service to customers and associates
  • Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with HACCP standards
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
