Job Requirements

  • must be fully conversational in English
  • have 1 to 2 years culinary experience in a fast pace restaurant including quick serve, grilling, frying
  • must successfully obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent
  • knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation
  • able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • able to support other cooks and work in a team environment
  • able to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather

Job Duties

  • work in OTG's prep kitchens and or the line of one of OTG's fast casual concepts
  • support the BOH by prepping many of the ingredients
  • prepare food to the correct doneness, portion sizing and plating with identical contents and appearance for consistent presentation according to OTG specifications
  • control the quality of all food items prepared to OTG specifications and restaurant directions
  • maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • operate all kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles
  • ensure uniforms are clean and professional
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and work toward customer satisfaction
