Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience or training in institutional food preparation
- Ability to work full-time
- Compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements
- Ability to work scheduled shifts between 6am and 6pm
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Job Qualifications
- One year experience and/or training in institutional food preparation
- Ability to follow prescribed menus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to document identity and employment eligibility as per Immigration Reform and Control Act
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to varied shift schedules
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare meals for youths and staff assigned to the Center for Adolescent Services
- Follow prescribed menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
- Document food preparation and comply with health regulations
- Collaborate with staff to meet special dietary needs
