Job Requirements

  • prior cooking experience
  • able to work full time Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to adhere to all company policies and food safety standards
  • able to perform physically demanding tasks
  • capable of handling kitchen equipment and maintaining cleanliness
  • commitment to safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • prior cooking experience
  • knowledge of federal, state and local food safety regulations
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

Job Duties

  • prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
