Job Requirements
- Males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
- Selectee must be suitable for federal employment
- Completion of a probationary period may be required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including regular entrees, special entrees, and desserts
- Apply food preparation principles and understand physical changes during cooking
- Plan and coordinate cooking schedules to ensure timely meal production
- Evaluate raw and cooked food items for freshness
- Use standard formulas for yield testing
- Follow food safety principles to prevent food spoilage and food borne illness
- Order, issue, and store food items according to inventory and sanitation requirements
