Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of food service experience required in lieu of high school education
- Valid food handlers card required
- Previous cook experience required
- Previous food service experience required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Availability to work between 4:30 am and 7 pm
- Ability to work on-site in Hampton, VA
Job Qualifications

- Valid food handlers card
- Previous experience working as a cook
- Experience in food service environment
Job Duties
- Prepare hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Follow recipes and maintain portion control for consistent product quality
- Support kitchen operations including cleaning and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and dietary requirements
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies
- Adhere to hospital policies and dietary restrictions regarding food preparation
