Job Requirements
- Six months previous job-related experience
- Food Handler’s Permit where applicable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Proficient use of restaurant equipment including convection ovens, grills, fryers, smokers, steam tables, microwaves
- Capable of reading kitchen prep books and manuals to prepare food recipes

- Six months previous job-related experience as determined by management
- Food Handler’s Permit where applicable
- Proficient use of restaurant equipment including convection ovens, grills, fryers, smokers, steam tables, microwaves
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Capability to read kitchen prep books and manuals to follow food recipes
Job Duties
- Manage the efficient flow of food in the kitchen while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and side items
- Clean, cut, prepare, and smoke meats and poultry
- Accurately measure food weights and portion sizes
- Transport pans, containers, and trays of food to and from work stations, smokers, and refrigerators
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
- segregate and remove garbage at shift change or as needed
- safely use cleaning products following instructions
- Observe and enforce safety procedures for kitchen supplies and equipment
- Demonstrate willingness to assist with any task to support teamwork
- Perform all other duties as assigned
