Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
- Possession of Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Willingness to learn food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of special dietary needs and required meal prep techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to handle conflict and customer complaints
- Ability to multitask
- Compliance with all food safety and equipment safety procedures
- Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision

Job Duties
- Ensures efficient and friendly service to all residents and staff
- Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned
- Orders, receives, and rotates stock with the Food Service Director
- Reads and follows recipes to ensure product consistency
- Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
- Works effectively as part of a team
