Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Must be able to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Basic proficiency in English for communication
  • Willingness to learn and accept training
  • Must comply with company policies and safety procedures
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year of previous culinary experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training
  • Basic math and record keeping skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food temperature and taste
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Store or discard excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Report needed maintenance or faulty equipment to supervisor immediately
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Commit personally to safety of self and others
  • Follow company policies for safety including use of gloves, mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
