Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum of 1 year related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume and casual dining preferred
- Knowledge of soups, saute, broiler, fry and pantry
- Able to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policies
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist and stand for job functions
- Frequent immersion of hands in water and chemical solutions
- Frequent use of sharp knives, utensils and hot plates
- Work in hot environments

Job Duties
- Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items
- Taste products, follow menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records to plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment
- Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
- Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with HACCP standards
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
- Measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of product
