Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and present food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service depending on shift and hotel needs
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
  • Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently including grills, ovens, fryers, slicers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and tools
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Assist in prep work such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces
  • Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory or quality issues to supervisors
  • Assist with cleaning and closing duties as assigned including waste disposal
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Comply with hotel policies and local health department regulations
