Job Requirements

- Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service depending on shift and hotel needs
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently including grills, ovens, fryers, slicers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and tools
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist in prep work such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces
- Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory or quality issues to supervisors
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties as assigned including waste disposal
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and efficient service
- Comply with hotel policies and local health department regulations
