Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a cook or food preparation role preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety guidelines and sanitation standards
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible, on-call hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Compliance with company safety protocols and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous breakfast cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic math skills for inventory and portion control
  • Flexibility to work on-call schedule with varying days and hours

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records
  • Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring food and supplies are stored per standards
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required
  • Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Report maintenance needs, equipment faults, or accidents immediately to the supervisor
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to safety
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures regarding safety equipment and practices
