Job Requirements

  • Previous line cooking experience is preferred
  • Ability to work full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:15 pm
  • Willingness to adhere to all company safety policies including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Capability to follow food handling and storage protocols
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliability
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Commitment to safety procedures and company policies

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food quality and temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining hygiene and safety standards
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • Reports equipment maintenance needs and participates in safety meetings
  • Maintains safe work environment and positive working relationships with coworkers and managers
