Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work well in a team with attention to detail and multitasking capability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cooking experience in a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Job Duties

  • Stock and supply preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, indicated quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, as well as utensils and equipment, to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
