Job Requirements
- Minimum one year culinary experience in restaurant, senior living or equivalent cooking experience
- Availability to work full-time including weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to adhere to community standards and policies

- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

- One year minimum culinary experience in restaurant, senior living or equivalent cooking experience
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary regulations for senior care
- Ability to follow food preparation and safety standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Experience in menu cycle program production
Job Duties
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- Exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required nutritional/dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per policy and procedure
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with any food production and ware washing as necessary
- Evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance to make revisions in operations/procedures to promote improved food service
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner which creates a positive kitchen environment
- Support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
