Job Requirements

  • must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the united states
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous cooking experience in a restaurant setting is beneficial but not required
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • effective communication skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • accommodate and stock prep and line stations
  • clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities and portion control systems
  • inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils and equipment for safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
