Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work in a team setting with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
