Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
