Job Requirements

  • One year of prep cook or line cook experience in a busy food service operation is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations regarding health, safety, and sanitation
  • Ability to speak, read and understand English well enough for effective communication and recipe preparation
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire
  • Reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Sets up stations according to restaurant guidelines
  • Successfully executes assigned station whether pizza, salad, fry, grill or sauté
  • Maintains health department safe food handling regulations and guidelines
  • Follows recipes, portion controls and presentations specifications
  • Rotates food in walk-ins and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage
  • Cleans and maintains station
  • Must be able to properly use and maintain all equipment in each station for which you are trained
  • Prioritizes work responsibilities effectively
  • Other duties as requested/assigned
