Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • able to work full time including every other weekend
  • availability to work varying days and hours
  • commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
  • ability to perform kitchen duties that require standing, lifting, and manual dexterity
  • willingness to comply with company policies including use of protective gear

Job Qualifications

  • some cook experience preferred
  • willingness to learn and undergo training
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment and sanitation standards
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to comply with safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensures food and supply items are stored per standards
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
