Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- full mobility of hands and arms
- ability to perform repetitive tasks
- willingness to follow company and governmental policies
- flexibility to perform additional assigned duties
- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cooking experience in a restaurant or diner setting preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- strong communication skills
- teamwork and collaboration abilities
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food products accurately and with minimal waste
- learn and apply specialized galley terminology
- plate dishes according to company standards
- follow menu items and procedures
- set up kitchen equipment
- verify stock levels
- maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- perform duties necessary for restaurant operations as assigned
- follow governmental and company policies
