Job Duties

Open and close the kitchen as required, ensuring all operations run smoothly
Maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment
Prepare and present breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks daily, ensuring high-quality standards
Create and present food for parent weekends and other special events as directed by the Chef de Cuisine
Execute menus generated by the Chef de Cuisine, adhering to all recipes and presentation guidelines
Adjust meal preparations based on communicated dietary restrictions and preferences of clients
Provide healthful, nutritious, and organic meals and snacks as directed to support well-being
Ensure overall kitchen cleanliness, including regular cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, ovens, floors, and dishes after each meal and food preparation
Adhere to state health and hygiene requirements as well as Newport Healthcare standards
Engage positively with parents and other guests, building appropriate rapport to enhance dining experience
Participate in baking or cooking groups as directed, contributing to team collaboration and skill development
