Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum 1 year of closely related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume and casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Frequent hand immersion in water or chemical solutions
- Frequent handling of sharp knives and hot equipment
- Capacity to work in hot kitchen environments
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience especially in high volume or casual dining environments
- Knowledge of food preparation including soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry
- Ability to comprehend instructions and communicate effectively
- Familiarity with HACCP standards
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in hot and fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Perform all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and Egg cooking
- Communicate ticket times and issues with management and servers
- Provide excellent customer and associate service
- Clean and sanitize work stations and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with HACCP standards
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients
- Stock, date, rotate, and check product temperatures
