Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Safe knife handling skills
  • Experience operating commercial slicers, ovens, grills, and large blenders
  • Ability to follow instructions for the safe use, cleaning, and care of dietary equipment and preparation areas
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
