Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in food service field
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Knowledge of institutional and school nutrition guidelines
- Experience in large scale meal preparation
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to work under moderate to loud noise
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications

- Two years experience in food service field
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Knowledge of institutional and school nutrition guidelines
- Experience in large scale meal preparation
- Full knowledge and practice of food safety, storage, and inspection requirements
- Culinary Arts Certification preferred
- Two years food preparation experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve daily meals
- Follow strict documentation for food storage, inventory, temperatures, cleaning, sanitation, and food disposal
- Support and maintain a safe, congenial teamwork environment
- Observe kitchen and dining sanitary standards and report discrepancies
- Maintain accountability for knives and cutting tools
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and participate in daily cleaning
- Model positive behavior and conflict resolution skills
- Promote a harassment-free environment
- Participate in department meetings and required training
- Utilize information systems and handle student data in accordance with policies
- Adhere to servant leadership culture values
