Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is beneficial
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities and portion control systems
- Inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils and equipment for safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Cover or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during high-volume periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen throughout the shift
