Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities and portion control systems
  • Inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils and equipment for safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Cover or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during high-volume periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen throughout the shift
