Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior line cook experience required
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must comply with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior line cook experience
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
  • Strong attention to detail in food presentation and portion control
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and maintains proper food temperatures
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service periods
  • Cleans kitchen and stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures proper food storage
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering and receiving of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperature following HACCP standards
  • Complies with company safety policies including use of cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
