Job Requirements

  • One year food service experience
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple diet requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Availability for seasonal, casual, on-call, or supplemental shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare food for patients, staff, and visitors following safe cooking techniques
  • Prepare meals for multiple therapeutic diets complying with state and federal food preparation regulations
  • Support quality control measures including recipe adherence and food quality consistency
  • Maintain sanitary and safe food handling practices
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with the nutrition and dietary team to meet patient needs
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare facility food safety guidelines
