Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working evenings
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift and bend safely
- Legal authorization to work in the country
- Basic English reading and speaking skills

- Experience in cooking, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Attention to detail and a passion for preparing great food
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively

Job Duties
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety, and sanitation
- Prepare hot entrees, soups, vegetables, and accompaniments for various dining areas
- Follow recipes and preparation sheets to ensure quality and presentation
- Complete advance prep, food temperature checks, and tasting for each meal
- Maintain accurate preparation records and store food properly
- Clean work area and equipment after use
- Follow proper lifting, bending, and safety procedures
- Assist with fire safety and emergency evacuation as needed
- Cooperate with other departments and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
