Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum of one year relevant cooking experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior experience in a cafeteria or large volume food production facility preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures typical in food service environment

Job Duties
- Refers to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties and completes opening and closing checklists daily
- Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Safely uses a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- Comfortable using and operating a variety of equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, recipes, policies, and procedures
- Handles, stores, labels, and rotates all products properly and in accordance with applicable state laws
- Follow assigned instructions to properly stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth serving of food
- Clear understanding of menu items
- Responsible for prepping ingredients
- Be able to multitask in a high-volume kitchen
- Handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
- Perform physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Perform other related duties as assigned
