Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Availability to work weekends

- Previous experience in senior living preferred
- Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required

Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold menu items working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line
- Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on menu cycle and standardized recipes
- Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production needs
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
